Mounted on pages from the United States Platinum Postage Stamp Album Hingeless Series. Fairly complete for the time period. 5	/^	A very, very unusual collection in 53 three-ring binders. What makes this even more unusual is the pages, which were designed by the collector and computer printed. We caught a couple of items that were over-optimistically misidentified by the collector and we believe there are certain to be others. In all, there are hundreds and hundreds of stamps, mint and used, in singles, blocks, plate blocks, plate strips and a couple of full sheets, several proofs and a few essays. As far as BOB goes, zeppelins are included mint and several officials, postal savings The effort that went into the pages alone is extraordinary. This is absolutely a one-of-a-kind collection that is crying for a loving hand to complete it. Freight shipping strongly recommended. 7	/^	The illustrative example of why you cannot judge a book, or stamp collection, by its cover. An adult collection in a child album, with a cover seemingly created by a seventh-grade girl. Despite the juvenile appearance, this one is loaded with value. Highlights include (used) #1 x2 (one pen canceled), #2, 1869s complete, Columbians complete, Trans-Mississippis complete, 277 and 278. Additionally, many other better 19th Century, better BOB, revenues, cut squares, and Confederate States are here. 8	/^	Wonderful collection in one Scott two-post binder to 1968. Mainly used in the early years, transitioning to mainly mint in the post WWII era, hinged or in mounts. There are highlights throughout as can be seen in the accompanying scans. Some examples include #s 25, 69, 71, 72, 87, 90, 112, 134, used Columbian Exposition Issue complete mixed mint and used, Trans-Mississippi issue complete used, Kansas-Nebraska's complete, etc. BOB wise there is E4, J43 and J54, O111 and O120 used and many, many others. 13	/^//FDC	Overrun Countries Issue. Five-volume exhibition-quality treatment of one of the United States Post Office’s most popular stamp series. All thirteen stamps are depicted in great detail. Included are official post office publicity releases, photos, and FDC instructions; mint and used singles, plate blocks, blocks of four, horizontal and vertical strips, and printing varieties and irregularities, as well as full mint sheets; official covers, diplomatic mail, censored mail, military covers, special event covers, collector-conceived philatelic creations, along with addressed and unaddressed FDCs designed by many different well-known cachet makers; and specialty items such as partial wrappers for 100 sheets of stamps with bands and American Bank Note seals. F-VF condition throughout and mounted on first-class Lighthouse hingeless pages and housed in like-new padded binders with slipcases.
