Six large cover albums of Canadian Pioneer and Bush pilot first flight covers in AAMC catalog order with AAMC titled plastic pages and one matched album of FAM and later flight covers. The first volume includes a Canadian leg 1931 Wiley Post cover, Canadian leg 1933 Balboa cover, and a Yukon Airways and Exploration cover. Totals over 500 different listed flight covers from 1927 onwards. Many are signed by the bush pilots or postmasters. Includes crash covers, delayed flight covers, emergency flights and flights that had to finish the trip by dog sled or by rail. Owners’ well annotated copy of the AAMC Fifth edition (1981) catalog and an inventory are included. A nice lot that was painstakingly assembled over many years. Difficult to duplicate. A tremendous value at our reserve.
