 1851-1944 in A DAVO Hingeless Illustrated Album. The 1851-88 content is patchy used and largely defective with thins, tears, and trimmed perfs; the latter includes the 1861 24c greyish-violet SG 57a (£700), also with a tear. Notwithstanding, the odd useful in reasonable condition includes the 1851 3c SG #13a, 1862-68 2c SG #69, 69a,
1875 5c SG #181a,b (3), 1883 4c SG #214b pair, and 1888 5c SG #221. The 1890-1929 period content is variable with sets, part sets, issued
singles and oddments of mixed quality with the defective items identified throughout the range, particularly in the commemorative issues, e.g. 1893 Columbian Expo 15c SG #243 mint, toned/thinned (£250), and 1898
Trans-Mississippi 8c SG #295 mint, thinned patchy gum (£130) & 50c SG #297 used, trimmed perfs (£225), but does include minor pickings here and there. The 1930-44 period
general issues and commemoratives content is solid. There is duplication of the low value stock throughout, however, overall, the collection lacks the scarce key stamps and sets, and there are no listed M/S & panes present. The BOB postage dues,
special delivery, officials, etc. are either absent or of little interest. The 'mint' elements throughout require close checking for gum condition, or lack of gum. (qty) (Image 1)

and 1908 10c SG #E354, plus 1911 Registration SG #R404a, and 1912-13 Parcel Post set to 20c SG #P423-40. Then follows ranges of used part
sets to 1938-54 noting 1908-10 including the 50c & $1 top values SG #348-9, plus a few MLH including the 1912-32 15c Liberty SG #574 (125). Also included 1922-58 oddments
