 Postage Dues. 1902-58 Postage Dues Accumulation very
mixed condition in a medium-size Chinese stockbook in apparent simplified ASC catalogue order. There is considerable pen-cancelled content and all the mint needs to be checked for gum condition, particularly MNG, starting with 1902 converted NSW
oddments and 1902 design completed scattered array to 5/- with useful used in the $25-$60 cat value range. The 1909-58 bi-colours are bizarrely presented in face value order, thus presenting difficulty in assessment. However, there is value in
places, noting used 1909 5/- ($70) and particularly in quantity cat value, eg 1909 2/- x7 ($350) & 1938 6d shades BW D127A-C x28 ($560). The purported rare 1909-10 1d single-line p11 is incorrectly ascribed,
ie incorrect shade & paper thickness, and an anachronistic cancel date. Notwithstanding the detritus and idiosyncratic presentation, careful viewing should repay the effort, particularly as unchecked for varieties (100s). (qty) (Image 1)
