 1859-1935 Collection the duplicated used 1859
Colony content to 12½c (Cat £275) in mixed condition (5). The QV period is generally sound, but somewhat scattered to 1897-98 definitives, thence of solid content to 1899 with the 1870-90, 1898-1902 definitives and 1898 Penny Post having most listed
shades present. The KEVII - KGV period is very solid with definitive sets largely complete used including shades and imperf x perf 8 coils also with elements up to 20c MLH and a good few with imperf x perf 8 MUH/MLH coil pairs. Commemoratives are
largely complete used, mostly wih MLH extras, Cat £3,500+ as MLH/used. (310) (Image 1)

 1857-72 Mostly Used Collection in
small Chinese album with much duplication in loose easily dislodged bundles of variable numbers causing album bulging. The bundles are mixed mint/used with the vast majority used. The mint stamps need to be checked to differentiate between MLH and
MNG, particularly early. The 1857-59 imperf 2d SG #3a and 6d SG #6 (£250) are both defective. There is value in the duplication including multiple 1935 KGV SJ sets, 1937
Coronation sets and 1938-49 KGVI definitives to 5r. The collection finishes at 1972 SG #590, ending the Ceylon period. In addition, another Chinese album with1972-88 Sri Lanka scattered used in range SG #591-1042. (100s) (Image 1)
