All Watermarks in very variable condition in face value order in 16
bulging album pages to 2/- brown & maroon in wmk order with duplication as doubled up or loose bundles of varying numbers, mostly regardless of the die, and the notional 1st wmk 3d olive content is mixed 1st & 3rd wmk; the perf 'OS' officials
then follow in a similar structure. There is considerable cat value in the duplication, e.g. 1st wmk 1/- small perf 'OS' x3, 4d orange x14, 3rd wmk 2/- brown x17, 1st wmk 2d grey small perf 'OS' x50, 3d olive perf 'OS' x7, 3rd wmk 3d olive x40 &
9d violet perf 'OS x35; these cat c.$8,600 alone. Also included some better used single stamps, e.g. 1st wmk 5d perf 'OS' ($125) & 2nd wmk 1/- perf 'OS' ($475). In addition, odd mint including: 1st wmk 6d ($325) heavy toned perf, 1/- ($375)
wrinkled, 3rd wmk 9d Die IIB ($150), SMW 9d x2 ($450) toned & wrinkled & 1/- ($125). The mentioned cat values of only a small number of stamps totalling c.$10,600 are a fraction of the total cat value present, and careful viewing is needed to
take account of the variable quality. The accumulation is not picked over and is highly unlikely to have been vendor checked for constant varieties (est. 2,000+). (Image 1)
