Worldwide On-Line Auction - April 28-29, 2025

Welcome to Phoenix Auctions #2186, being held on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th April both days starting at 10am. This will be our 5th Auction for 2025.

Session 1 (lots 1-1413) Monday with Australia through to Tasmania.
Session 2 (lots 1414-3056) Tuesday with Victoria, WA and Territories and then Rest of World.

As usual there are many variety lots, particularly in the Roos and KGV Sideface issues, and also in early decimal period. There is a significant selection of mint Australian decimals in our Australian Postage section. We have our usual range of Postal History, FDCs (many rarities), Coins, Revenues, etc, and, of course, many, many postmarks with a good selection of rare numeral and datestamp cancels. There is a good selection of Coins.

Rest of World collectors are always well catered for. There are over 800 lots in this section and the General & Single Country sections of the auction. There is a good selection of Foreign & British Commonwealth, with many pre-1970 mint & used sets. With a wide variety of countries and many lots of Postal History, Stationery, etc, there is plenty to choose from.

Notes:

  • Most collection & accumulation type lots have a reserve of 50% of the estimate.
  • The buyer's commission is just 18.15%.
  • New bidders need to be aware that, while there is no room bidding for these auctions, viewing, phone bidding and live internet bidding are still available. Lastly live bidding will skip over lots without any form of bid, so please enter some sort of bid, even if it is just $1, to ensure that these lots appear during live bidding. We hope you find its wide range of lots useful and interesting.
  • Viewing is available 10am-4pm from Monday 21st to Sunday 27th April (There is no viewing on Friday 25th (Anzac Day) & Saturday 26th).   • Auction 2186 is an on-line auction and will be live on the net via our own auction systems.
