Worldwide 2-Day Public Auction - June 17-18, 2023

Oakwood Auctions is proud to announce its "Premium Stamps Canada, USA, Great Britain & Worldwide- 2-DAY Auction" starting June 17th and 18th. Live Bidding will be available through both SAN, as well as our own website. Each day will begin at 11:00am EST.

There will be a great offering of philatelic material, and every collector or dealer will find something of interest. There will be quality Canada, US, Great Britain, Rest of the World, and British Commonwealth collections/accumulations, as well as rarer singles, including some China Local Post.

DAY 1 - (Lots 1-433) includes Canada and Great Britain, along with a few coins and banknotes. Canada includes mint Victoria, fantastic Admirals, very high quality Tobacco Revenues, and much more. Great Britain includes a lot of Victoria including quality mint examples, as well as Penny Blacks on covers. Highlights include:

  • Lot 394: Great Britain 1877 Five Pound Telegraph Vertical Pair (BD/BE) Colour Trial in Gold
  • Lot 377: Great Britain 1880 #81 2d Pale Rose Imperforate Imprimatur
