786 C image1818 (MY) Earliest Recorded Outer Wrapper from New Zealand in a Private Collection. The Wrapper was carried on the brig ‘Active’ from the Bay of Islands to Sydney, arriving 23 May 1818. It then went on the Sailing Ship ‘Batavia’ departing Sydney 3 June 1818 for Lancaster via Bombay and the Cape of Good Hope.
