LETTER CARDS: 1895 2d Card Perf 12 Proof in issued blue/pale yellow, with four dotted address lines, which are centred to the right, on unwatermarked laid stock, pencil lines on reverse suggesting the card was hand cut. Only known example.

The instructional text on reverse, with comma after 'Queensland', was adopted for the first 2d Letter Card released by the Colony on 1 June 1895.
