Large illustrated campaign design featuring portrait of Douglas facing right, verse below and illustration of cabinet maker at right, Tibbetts of Cleveland imprint, on orange cover bearing 3¢ dull red (26) manuscript canceled, matching ms. "Dec 1st "60, Flora O." postmark vertically at lower right to Warren Mass.; reduced at left, 3¢ corner crease, otherwise Very Fine and exceedingly rare design.
Milgram No. SD-41; Estimate $500 - 750.

This Milgram type is far rarer than the version printed by the Western Gleaner of Cleveland. Both have the Tibbetts design with Douglas verse, but this state lacks the Western Gleaner advertising text for Douglas Songsters and Newspaper Subscriptions.
