Oct 2" rimless cds to Hanover Mass., printed "Though this comes to you as a Circular, it is of special interest to you, Do not throw it in the waste basket" at top left indicating correct 1¢ circular rate use; tiny edge stain, fresh and Very Fine, the only recorded 1870 Bank Note issue Leeds use, the latest recorded.

This use is Claremont N.H. where two earlier uses are known with "The Claremont Manuf'g Co., Paper and Book Manufacturers" corner cards. One is in this collection, the other bearing a 2¢ Black Jack was in the Gross collection.
