1840–1950, several hundred covers including Great Britain Penny Black and Mulready; Switzerland with "Strubli" frankings; Russia including a 3-color franking from 1868, also France, Scandinavia including a mixed-issue franking to the Danish West Indies, Old German States, Spain, Denmark with Michel No. 1 and some overseas material, including two 1860 covers from Mexico to Bavaria.
1840/1990(ca.), very interesting, extensive holding comprising collections, accumulations, and duplicates, with a focus on Germany, with many better issues starting with the German Empire and onward, but particularly post-1945 Germany, including a section on GDR special stamp booklets as well as numerous modern covers from the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR; but also better European collections, such as Great Britain starting with the Penny Black and Penny Blue, and good selections from Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Sweden, etc., usual mixed quality, in 28 large cartons
1849/1900(ca.), very interesting unused and used collection with a few covers, many interesting items throughout, including Austria with 9 Kr. wit paper fold, 9 Kr. with part of Andreas Kreuz at bottom, 9 Kr. with mute cancel of Krakow, nice multiples, Belgium, Denmark, France Mi.-Nr. 1, 7, 8-9, multiples, better cancellation, Ceres 25c. with part of adjoining tete-beche stamp, Great Britain Mi.-Nr. 1-2, 5-7 and Penny Black on cover, Netherlands with 10c. retouche "horn”, some multiples and proofs, Mi.-Nr. 3 vertical pair on cover, Switzerland with Geneva large format postal stationery envelope, with good Section Rayon I, II and III, Spain including Mi.-Nr. 1-5, 9-11, 12-16 (including 2 r), some colonies like Danish-Westindies, Philipines etc. included, mostly good condition
1849/1902 (ca.), Repaired and Restored, unused and predominantly used accumulation of faulty stamps, all being defective at various degrees and professionally repaired with regumming, closing of tears, rebacking, thins filled in, margins added, etc. Noted a strong selection of German states, also France, Great britain, etc. An interesting reference lot for the specialist
1850/2015 (ca.), Albania to Vatican, massive mint never hinged/unused and used collection, usually with a fine balance between early and later issues, predominantly used before the 1960s, in the modern period with many complete years, noted fine sections of Rumania, Portugal, Croatia with miniature sheets, Netherlands, Lithuania, Poland and more. Some occasional faults as to be excepted, overall in good and fresh condition, neatly housed in 34 albums

(Mi.-Nr. 6) used, good selection of Fiume, Finland with Serpentines Rouletted, Gibraltar starting with a group of the 1886 "Gibraltar on Bermuda" issue and King George V up to the 8 shillings (watermark Crown CA multiple), Greece with the Hermes Heads up to the 80 lepta, generous part of Island including 1902 "1 GILDI” 40 a. in cpl. sheet (Mi.-Nr. 32B) (some toning and perf separations), Netherlands with 1913 2½ c.-10 g. cpl set (81-92) used, Ukraine Tridents (many signed UPV), Belgium 1921 International stamp Exhibition 50 c. blue in cpl sheet (Mi.-Nr. 165) unmounted mint (tiny faults in margins), good part of souvenir sheets with Luxembourg 1921 Birth of Prince Jean (121KB) used on registered First Day cover from LUXEMBOURG VILLE 6.1.21" (the envelope shortened at top), France 1937 PEXIP (Bl 3) unused and used, Portugal 1939 Portuguese Legion (Bl1) unused (some gum disturbance on reverse), Vatican with 1935 Law Congress 5 c.-1,25 l. cpl. (45-50) and 1936 catholic Press 5 c.-5 l. cpl (51-58) unused or mint never hinged, and more. Few forgeries noted; in the early issues mixed condition, an appealing and most useful assembly, neatly housed in 16 albums
1852/1950 (ca.), mostly used stamps on 15 old lot cards and stock cards, incl. a good part of the Netherlands incl. scarce cancellations and Dutch East Indies, also other material, noted forgeries, 3 certificates
