1874/1935 (ca,), Alwar to Travancore, interesting mint never hinged/unused and used collection, with some multiples and duplicates, noted good selections of Bamra, Bhopal, Bundi including Sacred Cows, Cochin and Travancore well represented, Jammu and Kashmir with 1883 Rectangular ¼ a. brown in cpl. sheet (small fault), together with a good part of Convention States with Chamba, Faridkot, Gwalior, Jind, and more. Few forgeries and reprints noted, slightly mixed but overall fresh condition, neatly mounted on album pages
1856/97 (ca.), over 60 covers, cards and postal stationery items, noted experimental cancels, shipmail, also some stamps and revenues, additionaly the book "ALWAR” by R.J. Benns, mixed condition
1931, Investiture of Maharaja ½a.-5r., cpl. set, mint never hinged, very fine, certificate RPSL (2023; for SG#50-51)

1854, Queen Victoria ½ d. blue, Die I, vertical pair, slightly cut into in places, otherwise clear to good margins all round, neatly tied by barred lozenge obliterators to entire letter to Dublin, Ireland, bearing "BOMBAY JY 29 1855” despatch handstamp with matching red "INDIA” handstamp, endorsed via Bombay & Southampton. Rated "4” (pence) due (postage partly paid) with arrival datestamp on reverse (7 September). A fine usage to Ireland.

1854, Queen Victoria ½ a. blue, Die I, two singles together with 1 a. deep red, Die I, neatly tied by dotted lozenge cancel with adjacent framed oval "INDIA” in red to envelope from the known Durand correspondence to Guernsey, endorsed "Via Southampton”, 1 s. annotated in front to be collected by the recipient, reverse cds "BOMBAY FE 2" and arrival (1855). Two adhesives with small faults, otherwise fine. A very scarce and interesting double inland rate of 2 annas paid by stamps (from October 1854 to January 1856, mail via Southampton could be sent prepaid or bearing)

"CALCUTTA 28 FEB 1855”, a highly attractive and rare multiple
1854, 4 a. blue/red, 2nd Printing (Frame Die I, Head Die II), fresh colours with good to large margins all around, neatly cancelled by diamonds of dots, leaving the Queen´s portrait clearly visible. A lovely example in very fine condition, signed Pfenninger
