Rated "4” (pence) due (postage partly paid) with arrival datestamp on reverse (7 September). A fine usage to Ireland.

Two adhesives with small faults, otherwise fine. A very scarce and interesting double inland rate of 2 annas paid by stamps (from October 1854 to January 1856, mail via Southampton could be sent prepaid or bearing)
