1873/98, specialized collection of 91 postal stationery cards, unused and used, with some rare varieties, picture postcards, additional frankings, etc. 

1880/2014 (ca.), large accumulation of over 750 covers, incl. Official Mail and Canal Zone, together with a large group of over 900 FDC from 1937 to 1987, some occasional faults, mostly in fine and fresh condition, neatly housed in 17 albums

1857-1, 1 c. blue, Type V, tied to patriotic Soldier & Flag cover by Providence, Rhode Island c.d.s. (May, 1861), repaired tear along bottom, but a scarce drop rate Civil War patriotic cover.

1866, 15 c. black, affixed to 1867 folded letter from New Orleans to Vienna, endorsed "per first Hamburg on Bremen Steamer”, hand of forwarding agents J.H. Eimer & Co (27 Sep), red British Packet Paid and blue "America / Uber Bremen / Franco” handstamps on front, Wien c.d.s. arrival backstamp (20 Oct), extensive explanatory pencil docketing on reverse, vertical fold, stamp with corner crease, else a fine usage to Austria via the Bremen Mails. AMERICA ÜBER BREMEN”, diese Taxe nochmals in Rötel vermerkt, nach Nordleda, Amt Otterndorf, Königreich Hannover, mit Ankunftsstempel von Otterndorf, die Marke kleiner Eckbug, das Kuvert gering unfrisch, ein insgesamt schöner und ungewöhnlicher Brief mit seltenem Stempel

1848, letter sheet from New York (docketed inside) with 'British open mail'  to Basle, Switzerland, endorsed "P.Steamer Niagara" (Cunard Line) and "Via Paris" at the Retaliatory-rate , prepaid (not noted) with 29 c.; in Switzerland charged with "54" kreuzer, including 10 d. british transit and 17 decimes double rate french and swiss postage.

1867, entire letter from New Orleans via New York and Hamburg to Stockholm, endorsed "Due 38 c." instead of correct 33 c., rated in Hamburg "7 2/6" Sgr. and charged upon arrival with "95" oere.

Coast Line San Juan & Los Angeles, U.S. Mail Stage Company, via Paso Robles Hot Springs, San Luis Obispo, imprint in blue on 1868 cover to San Juan, California, franked with two 1867 3c. Grills, tied by geometric cork cancels, New York c.d.s. alongside, to the firm of Flint, Bixby & Co, with their blue handstamp (17 Jul), endorsed "per Steamer", cover fault at upper right, else remarkably fresh, an attractive example of this scarce stage company envelope.
