1852–68, collection of over 280 stamps including singles, bisects, pairs, and multiples, a largely used holding in a large stockbook, though note many mint examples throughout, neatly-arranged by issue and denomination, ranging from the 1852 first issues through to the 1868 perforated types, a striking array of shades as well as postmark interest, suitable for further study and expansion, condition slightly mixed with some forgeries or repaired examples to be expected, though overall superior to what is often found in such extensive holdings, over a dozen certificates accompany and many more stamps bear expert signatures including Diena, Oliva, Ferrario; a desirable and well-balanced collection of above-average quality, mostly fine or better and ideal for the specialist.
