Fiscal Stamps Used for Postal Purposes Registered document band from Sermide to Mantua, franked for 2.10 lire via 75c. green and black with typographic characters and two copies of 30c. green and black with typographic characters, one of which is affixed to the back for the registration fee. The copy on the back, used as a letter seal, was torn when opened, and the 1.50 lire stamp shows minor abrasions due to the glue with which it was applied, probably having been recovered from another document. It is known that most revenue stamps used for postal services were removed from administrative documents, after the cancellation was erased in pen. An exceptional document, the only known instance of a 1.50 lire revenue stamp used on a document. Listed by the Sassone Catalogue at position 5 bis in the list of the most rare Lombardy-Veneto coins. Marche da Bollo Usate per Posta Fascetta per documenti raccomandata da Sermide per Mantova, affrancata per 2,10 lire tramite 1,50 lire verde e nero con caratteri tipografici e due esemplari del 30c. verde e nero con caratteri tipografici, di cui uno apposto al verso per diritto di raccomandazione L'esemplare al retro, usato come chiudilettera venne lacerato al momento dell'apertura e la marca da 1,50 lire presenta delle minime abrasioni dovute alla colla con cui è stato applicata, in quanto probabilmente recuperato da un altro documento. E' infatti noto che la gran parte delle marche da bollo usate per posta venivano tolte da documenti amministrativi, previa cancellazione dell'annullo a penna Eccezionale documento che rappresenta l'unico caso noto di una marca da bollo da 1,50 lire usata su documento.
