886 454/465Biii imageQueen Elizabeth II, Centennials, 1967/1973 advanced collection in two Lighthouse binders with slipcases, comprising several hundred mostly mint singles, pairs, blocks and plate blocks arranged on Hagner pages by denomination, identified by a combination of Scott and Darnell numbers with additional collector annotations, ranging from the 1c brown to the $1 carmine rose and ranking among the most complete collections of the issue we have encountered, with all major tagging varieties, several errors, coil start and end strips, precancels, plate blocks, misperforated 1c, 4c, 5c, 6c black and 8c values, 6c orange with fluorescent ink in a mint block of four and used on piece, and a 6c orange used in a Winnipeg-area police investigation concerning stamp thefts, overprinted “5959” with a fluorescent handstamp, also including booklet panes, imperforate 6c orange, 7c and 8c coils, Canadian Bank Note test-coil imperforate pair, group of Gregory Prosser “forgery” engravings of the higher denominations produced during the 1990s, and the six major varieties of $1 carmine rose plate blocks, including a matched set of the HB, DEX without inscriptions (c.v. $1,000), several key items ex Bileski, a collection requiring considerable time to replicate and of significant catalogue value, overall fine to very fine or better.
