1946–1990, all used collection housed in black mounts in three albums on Schaubek pages. The assembly begins with a comprehensive selection of Soviet Zone (SBZ) local issues and "Soviet Zone" overprints, including singles, multiples, and a selection of covers. Technical highlights include both 1946 "Finsterwalde" imperforate souvenir sheets and the "German National Theatre" perforated and imperforate sheets. The DDR proper contains premium early sets, including the 1951 "Chairman Mao" issue, a 1950 DEBRIA souvenir sheet on cover, and both perforated and imperforate 1953 Marx Year souvenir sheets on individual covers. The collection appears to run complete from the early 1950s through 1990. Supplemental material includes on-piece items and 67 covers, primarily concentrated in the first volume and mounted on adjacent blank pages. Stamps feature selected cancellations, and the grouping maintains a high standard of condition throughout.
