1250 O/og/nh   imageRailways, twelve volume topical collection, 1890s to 1983, housed in 12 Simplex spring-back albums, a mix of mint and used, neatly hinged or in mounts on pages and sorted by country, note better such as Bahrain #28 mint hinged, used Belgium railway stamps including #Q1-Q6, Canal Zone #120-135 used, France C8-C13 mint hinged, etc. Nine of the 12 albums have been catalogue by the owner, whose 2015 Scott catalogue value was U$10,811. The objective of the collection was to collect the stamps showing railway information, locomotives, bridges, engineers, stations, etc., in which the collector has neatly typed or hand written noted with the issues. The albums have been affected by poor storage which has resulted in some of the mint stamps being stuck in the mounts and there is an overall mustiness to the albums; nevertheless, a solid basis for expansion.
