1144 O/og/nh   image1840/2012, mint and used collections of Great Britain and Channel Islands in four volumes, the Great Britain collection in two volumes starts with a Penny Black (cut into), the Victoria era through KGV is mostly used, condition often mixed, then a mix of mint and used through to 1957, mint hinged to about 1970, then appears to be mint never hinged with some used sets mixed throughout, fairly complete through the QEII era including phosphorescent stamps, booklets and souvenir sheets, one volume of Machins 1967-2013, mix of mint and used also used back of the book issues, also including a mint never hinged collection of the Isle of Man, 1958-199, a fourth volume with Guernsey, Alderney and Jersey, almost complete, missing only a handful of stamps to be complete, some faults among the earlier issues, overall fine or better. 1149 O/og/nh   image1890s/1970s, accumulation of mint and used Great Britain and Channel Islands, in approximately 3,500 identified 102 cards in 6 red boxes, the material looks to be accurately described and is well organized, ranging from Scott #3 through to #3673, noting three nice used copies of #108 (c.v. $750, as well as a perfin copy), and multiple used Seahorses, identified as being from various printings, likely 2/3 of the material is used, with the mint a mix of hinged and never hinged, some duplication but less than usual for such an accumulation, condition is mixed on early material and we note the slight smell of tobacco smoke for the record, otherwise fine overall; online photos show an overview of the complete lot.
