The group consists of 5 different maps, identified by the owner as being dated 1879, 1881, 1881-82, 1902 and 1911, some taken from atlases of that year. These maps show very useful information for the postal historian, such as the emplacement of towns, counties, one shows the CPR railway, a colour-coded one showing the origin of the population and much more. 666 CVR Bruce image1863 Formosa C.W Postmark on 3x 5c Beaver Cover, a very fine free strike manuscript dated SEP.5.1863 (the only recorded strike from this hammer) on an oversize cover to Goderich (SEP.7 receiver) via Seaforth (SEP.7) and Wroxeter (SEP.5), franked with a strip of three 5c Beavers (all three with dot in C of CENTS, etc.), paying the tripe weight rate. Wrinkles and creases, still a nice example of this so-far unique postmark.

The Williamsburg "1829" Type postmark has an "East" manuscript added in the date area, as the post office only received their first instrument in 1842.
