1887 O/og/nh   imageKenya and Area Mint and Used Collections, 1907 to 1994, on older album pages in two binders. This collection is an agglomeration of the various component countries of the East Africa area, including East Africa & Uganda, German East Africa occupation issues, Kenya & Uganda; Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar and Zanzibar & Tanzania. There are numerous better stamps included, such as K.U.T. #s 81b (mint c.v. $62), 93 (mint c.v. $50) along with a number of the perforation varieties of the George VI definitive issues. We estimate the K.U.T. portion of the collection to be 90% complete by album illustration. The collections for modern Kenya, Tanzania and for Uganda carry on strong, with many of the early definitive sets complete. The Zanzibar collection is in its own binder and is respectable for a harder country, it includes # 108 (mint c.v. $50) along with some complete definitive sets. Overall fine to very fine.
