1661 O/og/nh   imageCollection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Asia and Area in 7 Binders, consisting of a few thousand stamps (including a few souvenir sheets), in Vario-style black stock pages. We note better representation from China (including Chinese Imperial Post issues and a small selection of PRC), Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Laos, and Vietnam. The stamps generally range from the 1930s to the 1970s, with some issues on both sides of the given range. A spot check of stamps indicated a few issues cataloguing $10 and higher, along with selections of Airmails, Postage Dues, etc. A good opportunity for finds by the specialist. 1663 O/og/nh   imageMint and Used Collection 1900s to 2007, in two thick binders on album pages and stock sheets. Volume I is something between a collection and an accumulation with very good variety and includes Roos and George V issues as well as numerous high denominations. Volume II is a more traditional collection and starts in 1982 with more than half the stamps being used, which means there will still be respectable face value, considering the time period. We estimate the entire collection to be over 60% complete in period. There are a few thousand stamps in all. Overall fine to very fine. 1674 O/og/nh   imageMint and Used Collection, 1852 to 2006, on older album pages in a binder. This group is comprised of two or more collections spliced together in a fairly even split of mint and used and is fairly complete from about the 1920s to the 1970s. There is much in the way of better stamps included, such as #s 3 (used c.v. $375), 6 (mint c.v. $110), 9 (used c.v. $95) and 126 (mint c.v. $125), with plenty more in the $10 to $50 range. Also included are numerous extras, such as shades, souvenir sheets, gutter pairs as well as date inscription, watermark and overprint varieties. There is a strong representation of the Seal of the Colony issues. We also noted a number of well centered postmarks, especially in the classics. The mint stamps tend to be hinged, however there are some never hinged issues interspersed from the 1970s period through to the end of the collection. With stamps stacked on top of one another in mounts, there is value in this collection which may not be apparent at a casual glance. Overall fine to very fine.
