Canada Postal Stationery continued...
LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
961 CVR   imageAccumulation of Postal Stationery, Victorian to QEII Era, with many hundreds in a bankers box with mint and used, including envelopes, printed to private order, postal cards, reply cards, wrappers, and aerograms. The used material contains a good variety of small town postmarks, rates which include registration and other uprated material. We also note some of the envelopes have corner card advertising and a few that have illustrations. Duplication is heavy in some cases. We observed some of the used material having some corner bends or other small faults but otherwise a very fine lot. See online photos for a small sampling. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (All Scans)

The previous owner was under the impression that these stamps were precancelled at the Flesherton post office, as this may have been part of a larger mailing from J.W. Henderson, who was the Township Clerk of Artemesia, Insurance Agent, Agent for the Owen Sound Marble Works and Licensed Auctioneer for the County of Grey (busy fellow). Missing its backflap, still interesting with a very fine appearance. Ex. "G. Marnier" collection.
