The stamps have the same tagging as a regular stamp with all 5 colours, helping to prove that there was no chemical manipulation to remove the colours. 631 nh ST-1P, ST-2P imageGroup of Stick-n-Tick Test Proofs, 1983-1984, with a single label test of the 1983 printed on "KRAKLEEN" self-adhesive paper, this example being 1 of 13 singles to have survived. According to Bileski, 100 were prepared for testing purposes, one of those was used on cover and the rest were destroyed. A pair of the issued labels is included for comparison, with one of the two on the same strip showing the "double dots" variety. The 1984 test proof is a vertical pair of the "Lab-3T" variety with die cutting as issued; the dark grey box at top right was eventually replaced by the muticoloured candlestick imagery. Bileski stated that there were only 25 pairs of the 1984 test labels in private hands. Both of these proof items are in fine to very fine condition. These are wonderful additions to any collection of Canadian Christmas issues, or for the proof specialist. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (All Scans)
