1270 O/og/nh Middle East imageMiddle Eastern Countries Collections and Stock Filling a Carton, starting with an Egypt collection on Steiner pages, appears sparse but noted a few hundred stamps in sets, souvenir sheets, etc. (strongest in the 1940s to 60s). Also two Iran collections (one on Steiner pages) with perhaps 100 stamps total), and a Jordan collection on Steiner pages has fewer than 100 stamps. An Afghanistan collection on Steiner pages (1871-1985) has about 100 stamps, and is strongest in the 1960s. Iran is also present in plastic sleeves sorted by issue and there is a box filled with Israel stamps sorted in plastic sleeves and first day covers.
