1c Violet Brown Prince of Wales, a mint lower left corner plate block of 12, with large part of the imprint at lower right. The block is never hinged, but the bottom row has short gum and there are two small hinged reinforcing separation of the
lower selvedge. The lower left corner was folded back prior to the perforation process, and would make a neat variety if unfolded. Very fine.
