1519 O/og New Zealand imageMostly Used Collection, 1862 to 2014, in 4 Stanley Gibbons padded albums with matching slipcases. Very strong from the beginning to about the early 1990s (about 95% complete, missing mostly souvenir sheets and some sets in that period), then trickles down until the end. Includes a section for back of the book with a few dozen stamps (officials and postage dues). The collection is mainly used, souvenir sheets after the 1990s tend to be all mint. We counted the Stanley Gibbons catalogue value for 1862 to 1945 only, at £2,373 and the rest should add up quite nicely. 1523 O/nh Norway imageNorway Used Collection on Scott Pages to 1991, an impressive collection that starts with Scott #s 1 to 59 only missing one stamp (Scott 41) catalogue value for this section is $2,942 then there are a few stamps missing to 1941 and then again 1941 to 1991 appears to be only missing one low value stamp. The semi-postals are equally impressive with B1-3 (CV $196) present, but also with a second set on a FDC. A few of the later souvenir sheets are MNH. Nice quality throughout. 1528 O/og/nh Portugal imageMainly Mint Collection in Twelve Albums, 1895-2002, a large mint collection that appears to be never hinged from 1952 on. The collection starts in 1895 with mainly used stamps while many spaces are left open to about 1930. Still the second and third Independence issues are present in MH condition and so are many other stamps. However, from 1934 on to the end only a very few stamps or souvenir sheets are missing and the collection is close to complete. Almost all of the early and desirable souvenir sheets are present: both regional costumes issues are MNH while the Postrider, Lisbon Castle, Bank of Portugal and Kings are MH. In later issues many sheetlets, booklets and issues for the islands are present. Our estimate is only a fraction of the face value of just the recent issues. 1530 O/og/nh   image Russia, Eastern Europe and Area Collection in 13 Albums and 1 Stockbook, an interesting Russia collection on Minkus pages to 2005 with period 1955 to 1980 very nearly complete with many souvenir sheets included. Few stamps after 1990. Earlier period filled 25-40%. The stockbook is filled with partial sheets of MNH stamps from the late 1970s. Also included are country collections for the Baltic States, Slovenia, Slovenko, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia etc with few stamps in each. Noted some Tannu Tuva. Inspect. 1533 O/og/nh Scandinavia imageDenmark, Danish West Indies, Faroe Islands and Greenland Collection on Scott Pages, the Demark collection goes to 1990 and is used. We noted a very strong early period with stamps such as Scott 6 (CV $190), 11-15 (CV $388), 16-20 (CV $397), some are noted with inverted frames, 79-81 (CV $255), 136-7 (CV $240), 139 (CV $325), 145-154 (CV $291) and so on, as nearly every page is complete. The back of the book is equally impressive with semi-postals B1-5 (CV $196), complete airmails C1-10 (CV $883), near complete postage dues, newspaper and parcel post stamps. Then the Faroe Islands collection is used to about 1986 and then mainly MNH to the end in 1995. Greenland also goes to 1995 in a mixture of used and MNH. A mint hinged and a used set of the uncatalogued 1935 Thule stamps are also included. Quality is very fine or better throughout. 1534 O Seychelles imageUsed Collection on Quadrille Pages, 1878 to 1950s, all neatly mounted and described. Starts off with a few Mauritius used in Seychelles (B64 cancels, cat $94), followed by a strong showing up to KGVI, including shades and dies. We noted six different Queen Victoria plate blocks (catalogued as mint hinged but appear all never hinged) as well as some better town cancels, including a few from Anse Royale. Also includes three stock cards with duplicates not counted in the total catalogue value. All pages scanned online, overall fine or better.
