1720 O Great Britain imageUsed Collection in Three Senator Albums, 1840 to 2003, with each item identified and catalogued by owner. Starts with two Penny Blacks (red and black Maltese crosses and three margins), then seven other imperforates, then stamps collected for plating or shades, with many high values, including Seahorses, etc., those sometimes with smudgy postmarks or small faults. Close to complete for definitives in the Queen Elizabeth II era, and there is one album containing only Machin Heads (hundreds) which the owner catalogued at 20c each stamp, otherwise where stated. A very good range of material, with very little duplication, we note 16 different QV, 10x KEVII, and so on, with many Wildings and even more Machin Heads. Note a NH 2/6 Seahorse, three NH sets of Castles, postage dues, high values throughout, and appears to run through 1989. Mix of hinged and NH at beginning, becoming all NH in the 1950s.
