1931 Graf Zeppelin Flown Covers, includes a 1931 flown post card (US 1c stationery card) from Friedrichshafen to the ice breaker "Malyugin" with Scott #C41, the 2 mark Polar-Fahrt overprint issue (July 24, 1931). Has a polar flight confirmation
mark in red and a Malyugin July 27, 1931 receiver on front. Also Frost D127-7AA Oct. 11 flown post card to the USA franked with a faulty #C36. Has an Oct. 16 New York receiver. Both with minor edge wear, still very presentable. (Scan a)

Letter from Dublin to Canada, Lord Wolseley, O.H.M.S. stationery cover was mailed Dublin Ireland on DEC.29.1891 (duplex cancels) franked with 2½d in stamps, and addressed to henry Morgan / Department of State / Ottawa, Canada. The envelope has
embossed arms of the "Commander of the Forces Office / Dublin" on back and same printed on front (alongside Wolseley endorsement signature). The enclosed letter is embossed with "The Royal Hospital / Dublin" and is a letter from Lord Wolseley wishing
Morgan the Season's greetings. Field Marshal Garnet Joseph Wolseley, 1st Viscount Wolseley had a long and interesting military career (read about on Wikipedia) and was active in Canada, Egypt, Ireland, and many other countries and was notably
involved in the Riel Rebellion and many other important battles. Cover and letter are very fine. (Scan a)

Confederate States Covers, the first was mailed from Montgomery Alabama on FEB.25.1861 and addressed to New Orleans Louisiana. Franked with a (faulty) 3c Washington, it was mailed shortly after Montgomery became the first Capital of the
Confederate States of America (Feb 4th). Few tears on back, else very fine. Also included is a cover mailed from "...TERS..." on the same day (FEB.25, year unknown) and addressed to North Carolina. This one is franked with an imperforate Confederate

from USA to PEI, mailed from Cloverport, Kentucky on SEP.27.1855 and addressed to Charlottetown. Franked with a sheet margin block of 3c Washington imperforates (Type II, with some faults), each cancelled and tied to cover with three better than
usual strikes of Prince Edward Island datestamps dated OCT.12.1855. Back has same datestamp (same date) plus a St John New Brunswick OCT 7 and a blue St Andrews NB datestamp dated OCT 3 (or 8?). There is a notation "per Steamer to Boston". Lots of
