1326 O/og/nh United States imageOld Time Collection, 1861 to 1954, all hinged onto quadrille pages in a thick springback album. Starts with mostly used up to about 1904 where we start seeing one mint and one used of some issues, then slowly all becoming mint, including some never hinged. Includes back of the book, coils, postmarks, imperforates, blocks, shades (especially in the early material), etc. We have calculated a catalogue value of $9,602 up to 1926 only, and past that there are probably several hundreds more in value. Up to #261 we have written in the margin which catalogue number was used (for reference), which is usually the cheapest shade, grid, perforation, paper or variety, which we did not account for. Therefore actual carefully checked catalogue value should be much more, accounting for these values. We have also marked with an X the very faulty items that were not counted. Some faults in the early material, then becomes very nice quality and overall fine or better. Careful inspection should reward.
