Welcome to Day 4 of the Spooktacular Halloween Sale at Holabird Western Americana Collections, LLC!

Sunday, November 1st, 2020, features our fantastic Philatelic selections, and we are delighted and grateful to have Stamp Auction Network join us for online bidding. The Philatelic section includes a wonderful variety of First-Day covers, postage stamps, postcards, and Wells Fargo/Express items – more than 220 items in all.

Of particular interest for this season are 18 lots of highly desirable Halloween postcards by Gibson, Tuck, Winsch, and others. There are more than 50 lots of vintage postcards from California alone, including Real Photo Postcards (RPCs), chromolithos, printed, and more. Don’t miss the First Day covers autographed by the likes of Henry Kissinger, Hubert Humphrey, Nelson Rockefeller, Spiro Agnew, and other highly recognizable names. There are forty lots of postage stamps from the USA and around the world.

We know many of you have collecting interests outside of Philatelics also, and we invite you to join us online for all five days of our Spooktacular auction beginning at 8 a.m. from Thursday, October 29 through Monday, November 2, 2020. We have Californiana items from the Salvatore Falcone Collection and the John Reynolds Collection, and be sure to watch for the Benjamin Fauver collection of tokens and counters. There is a fantastic selection of interesting marbles, a large offering of numismatic material, rare mining ephemera, Civil War memorabilia, Western art, gold specimens, and a 1,000-troy-ounce, ~90% silver bar that pre-dates the 1940s. To see the full scope of the Spooktacular Auction, visit our website at www.holabirdamericana.com.

And remember – we are always after new and major collections to bring to market. We are your source for selling Americana at the best prices obtainable, having sold more than any other company in the past decade alone. We plan on having our entire sales database online soon at no cost – nearly 200,000 lots of Americana we have sold since 2014. Give us a call today! We have agents all over America, and we travel to see most collections. Just give us a call at 775-851-1859.
