Carmine tied on envelope by "U.S.S. Ohio Dec 26 1913" hand cancel, couple horizontal rows of disinfection punch holes, horizontal crease across the bottom, Fine use; rnUSS Ohio (BB-12), a Maine-class pre-dreadnought battleship, was commissioned into
the fleet in October 1904. Ohio initially served in the Asiatic Fleet, from 1905 to 1907, then joined the Great White Fleet for its world cruise, which lasted until early 1909. When this cover was mailed, she was serving with the Atlantic Fleet
