and rare piece of mail carried on the first transatlantic air mail flight; with 1986 Sieger document discussing the coverrnAccompanied by original enclosure from US Airship pioneer James W Cullinan (pilot who perished in crash of USS Shenandoah). The
envelope was handed over to a crew member of R34 who posted the letter in Harleston 3 days after R34 landed. From there, the cover travelled to the addressee in Binghamton NY. (Image 1)
