WORLDWIDE ACCUMULATION. interesting lot filled with country collections that are 80 to 90% complete, general albums, stock books, stock sheets, glassines, stock cards etc. The country collections have a lot of specialization in the early periods
with many additional shades/ptgs. that will need specialist catalogs to discover true value and those that tend to have CTO usages in the modern period, actually have more mint sets than used and even some premiums like imperfs. The countries are
represented from the first issues or very early period up to about the 1980’s and include Cuba, Russia (including a solid group of Russian offices), Poland, Hungary (a lot of mint), Romania, and Israel. Then there are albums, with the best
being a well filled International Junior with strength throughout the British Colonies with a lot of mint and selected used copies with cancel interest up to medium values and sets, thematic collections for music, flowers, etc., there is Asia
material in various places, labels of all types, stock pages and stock cards filled with stamps with better throughout from all over, many glassines that need to be checked for better values, etc. There are a few condition problems here and there,
but nothing out of the ordinary for such a large, diverse, old time group like this that will pay dividends for those that take the time to look. |
