NEPAL STAMP and COVER ASSORTMENT. absorbing stamp and postal history range with much fascinating material of several 100s of stamps from the first issues onwards, including interesting tete-beche, through to the 1950/60s. There are also dozens
of postal history items as well, virtually all commercially used including local and international destinations, much of this is an embassy correspondence. Although chaotically presented, the 19th and early 20th century imperfs have over 100 of the
‘Sripeh and crossed Khukris’, mostly used. Also a rough estimate of the amount of postal history is about 60 items including scarce items, VG-VF,a great accumulation to break down and re-present for a stamp/postal history of this area,
formed over many decades of stripping down collections by a compulsive buyer of Nepal. Ideal for research purposes, particularly the correspondence and the early first issues, a much recommended viewing. |
