5342 OGO   EGYPT COLLECTION with POSTMARKS. Extensive mostly used collection with 1000s of stamps neatly arranged in a stock book, beginning with the Ottoman Empire overprints on to the 1867 sphinx and pyramid types to high values noting a range of postmarks from many parts of Egyptian influence with probably several 100s of the sphinx and pyramid types alone including multiples used through to back of the book, the 20th century features better early mint definititves with a detailed study of the early defins with and without overprints to 200mils, through to Farouk again with early definitive setes to £, lots of airmails, better comems of the 1920s and 1930s, ending with non-Scott listed material among the British Forces in Egypt postal seals, through postage dues, revenues, etc., usual mixed condition but better than usually seen, mostly F-VF (see online scans)
