The early issues are mostly used including a few with certificates, then mostly mint from the Banknote issues onward, quite clean with strength in Washington-Franklins and 1919-1934 issues (a mix of hinged and never hinged); no back-of-the-book. Noteworthy unused include Columbians to the 50¢, Trans-Miss. to 10¢, Pan-Americans nearly complete, Louisiana Purchase and Jamestown, Panama-Pacific perf 10 nearly complete, Washington-Franklins to the $2, White Plains souvenir sheet and more. There is a lot of value here to pull out or build upon. Some scattered faults mainly in the early issues (and a couple without gum) but generally sound, mainly Fine to Very Fine. 602   image1851-1939, a mint and used collection, hinged or in mounts on Scott album pages, with the main value in used 19th century issues, including 1869 Pictorials to the 15¢, Banknote issues to the 90¢, an o.g. $1 #261, also a few Washington-Franklins and many commemoratives (no back-of-the-book). Early issues are mainly used with occasional faults, becoming mostly all mint after about 1920, with some blocks and souvenir sheets. Centering ranges from Fine to Extremely Fine.
