92   imageMilitary Payment Certificates, 1946-73, a group of 102, issued under the authority of the Dept. of War, then the Department of Defense for use by the US Military, not redeemable for US currency since 1973; Fifteen Series were created but only 13 were issued this group includes Series 461, 471, 472, 481, 521, 541, 541, 591, 611, 641, 661, 681, and 692 in varying denominations from 5¢ - $20. High value items of note are Series 521 50¢; Series 681 $5 (x3), $10 and $20; Series 692 $10 and $20. Some would well benefit from certificates to confirm our grades as many of the high values are in pristine uncirculated condition, of course there are plenty that are well worn. This is an interesting area and one that could be fun to complete - this lot would give you a great start! A complete inventory is included with notes on our estimated values.
