U.S. Accumulations, Dealers Stocks and Face Value Postage
LotNo. Symbol CatNo. Lot Description
458 o 10//2000 imageU.S., 1851-1983, a massive used dealer stock / accumulation (Scott 10//2000), four large boxes with items housed on stock pages in 25 small three ring binders, many Scott numbers in larger quantities; features early 1869's, Columbian, Trans-Miss, Pan Ams, Pan Pacifics and a ton of Washington-Franklins on through all the more modern. We only estimated catalog value through about Scott #700. There are a handful of mint stamps but all are hinged; there are plenty of faults throughout this lot as would be expected but will provide hours of fun to sort through the stamps (a few may be mis-identified with some being more valuable and other less) but still plenty of value here! Also included are 10 binders with used Postage Dues, Revenue stamps (some on documents around the turn of the century) and cut squares. A few images are on the website to see the scope of the lot, overall Fine. (Image) (Image2) (Image3)

Quite a range here, with value in the 1857 to 1938 period, plus some back-of-the-book, and lots and lots of modern postage on pages. Mint never hinged, mint hinged, mint no gum and used. Mixed condition with some faults (as would be expected), but with much Fine to Very Fine. There's real value here to be extracted. Shipping weight 120 lbs / 54.5 kilos.

SOLD for $1,400.00
Will close during Public Auction
460 /o   imageU.S., 1880's-2000's, a massive accumulation of odds & ends, housed in 5 large boxes. Noteworthy are:
Face value postage, including a nice section in full sheets, with some better values from the early 1930's, plus an ample assortment of plate blocks neatly organized in glassines;
Small collections on loose pages, 1930's onward, with some moderately better (mint C1, C3 and the like) and much neatly mounted newer issues;
Small collections in older albums, mainly used stamps, with occasional blocks;
Stock pages filled with mint and used, some all different, some heavily duplicated, mostly values in the $50 and down catalog value range, but the value does add up because there is a lot of it;
Used in small boxes (mostly bundleware);
Some more exotic items, including souvenir cards and panels, inauguration covers signed Nancy Reagan, and more.
In mixed condition as would be expected, but with enough Fine to Very Fine to make this an interesting and very worthwhile lot. Inspection will definitely help to appreciate fully. Shipping weight 155 lbs / 70.5 kilos. (Image)
