9/JUL/1916, The first 11 values of the issue Centenary of Independence on an official sheet of the General Administration of Posts, with "AMBULANTE 1" cancel applied for the first journey to Mendoza of the FIRST POSTAL CARRIAGE, dedicated
to Francisco Colin York (Chief of the repair shops of the Ferrocarril de Buenos Aires al Pacífico), who was in charge "of the construction of this mail car that has served as a model". Along a manuscript letter of the General Postmaster (Mr.
Villafañe) and the official envelope that was used to send it from the railway PO upon arrival in Junin to the steamship "Amazon" in the Port of Montevideo. Excellent quality, unique document of great value to the expert! (Image) (Image-02)
