 INTERESTING LETTER POSTED BY ENGLISH MAIL: Entire letter written on a double sheet that originally was printed on 2 of its pages with commercial circular (one dated San Francisco, USA, 24/SE/1850, and the other one London 7/MAY/1852), the
manuscript letter was written on the inner page, dated London 28/MAY/1852, and the remaining page was used to write the address, affix the postage etc. It was sent to TACNA, PERÚ, franked with 4p. (pair of 2p. blue plate 13, Scott 30) but not
cancelled, with red "PAID - LS - 29MY29 - 1852", upon arrival in the port of EL CALLAO the postage was cancelled in the English offices with the mark "C38", and the letter continued its journey to Tacna, very fine quality, very rare!! (Image) (Image-02)
