Set of 13 different blocks of four, each former Printer’s file copies ex Bradbury Wilkinson archive, annotated with the printing dates in manuscript. The set comprises the original nine denominations: 3s, 7s6d, 10s, £1, £2, £5, £10, £20 and £50. Each neatly endorsed ‘0/18109’ and dated 10/3/1930’ in pencil on reverse, also the  3s, 10s and £1 endorsed ‘0/226199’ and dated ‘2.2.34’, and a different shade of the £1 endorsed ‘0/28685’ and dated ‘8.3.35’. A beautiful and remarkable exhibition set of blocks clearly showing the shade contrast relevant to the various printings. Each complete proof, is handstamped 'CANCELLED' in red. A unique and impressive assembly of the highest importance of the keyplate design which was utilised for issues of Great Britain and Commonwealth for the entirety of the reign.
