Officer / Halifax Fortress" Postmark on Cover, a light strike on the back of a "Canadian Pacific Ocean Services" cover mailed from Halifax (AUG.23.1917 Type 23-2 War Savings flag ties stamps) to Toronto. Similar to Toop / Bailey's M8-10 (RF E)
except this example reads "... Officer" rather than "... Office". A rare military marking, perhaps on a cover addressed to a soldier going overseas. Overall toning, else very fine.

a few times and finally got two "No Trace" handstamps. Returned to Winnipeg (Canadian Postal Corp MAR.19.1919 receiver) then to the Ottawa Dead Letter Office (APR.1.1919 orb receiver), couple small tears else overall fine. (Scan 1)
