322 CVR MR4 image1917 Special Delivery Censored Cross Border Admiral Cover, mailed from Toronto in 1917 (duplex month and day are difficult to read) to New York City (APR.4 receiver on back), franked with a 2c + 1c War Tax Admiral, the 10c S.D. fee paid using an American Special Delivery stamp, as per the short-lived bilateral agreement of the time. A 3-line Special Delivery instructional handstamp in purple ties the S.D. stamp. The cover has a civil censorship re-sealing tape from "No. 31 - TO.", light vertical crease, else very fine. Card with Official Stamp, a pink A.R. card mailed from the Federal Department of Labour in Vancouver to Port Radium, N.W.T., then returned airmail to Vancouver. The card was mailed using a "G" overprinted Official 20c Paper Mills stamp to pay (over-pay?) the Airmail return of the card. There is also a bilingual "By Air Mail" label on front. 328 CVR   image1874 Stampless Registered Cover, mailed from Toronto on MAR.4.1874 (broken circle free strike) to Sandwich, with REGISTERED handstamp and "PAID 5" handstamp in red denoting that the 3c postage plus 2c registration fee were paid in cash (in this case charged "to drawer 88"). The payment of fees with stamps became mandatory on OCT.1.1875. Very fine.

330 CVR   image1854 Tiny Folded Money Letter, mailed from Amhertsburg U.C on FEB.14.1854 (double broken circle in blue) to Toronto (light receiver on back), plus another very faint transit datestamp in red, with manuscript "prepaid" in blue and "PAID 6" in circle also in blue. Folded letter measures 80 x 55 mm, and is certainly one of the, if not the smallest money letter we have seen, very fine.
