48 E/P 343DP imageTwo Pre-Production Items for the 1954 Gannet Issue, with a large progressive die proof in colour of issue printed on thin glazed card measuring 37 x 48mm. Also a photographic print of a different progressive proof mounted on a card mounted on an index sheet with order number and engraver's name. Both differ from the original with minute differences, such as an extra star in front of the Gannet's beak on the die proof, different shading around the "15c", etc. Very fine and scarce. Would be a great accompaniment to the 15c Gannet rates collection offered in our postal history section, perhaps as two great items for the title page of an exhibit. 49 nh 404p, 404piii image1963-64 4c Carmine Queen Elizabeth II Cameo, Tagged, a lot of 60 complete tagged, field stock sheets of 100, starting off with a Bileski offering of three sheets of #404piii (WCB 8mm, catalogue value of $1,500 alone) and the rest appear to have a variety of tagging, including wide and narrow bars, centre or side, etc. (unchecked by us). Some sheets have parts of their selvedge missing, else an overall fine to very fine group, and a great opportunity for further study.
