224 ng CM4, CM8 imageGroup of United States 1944-45 6c Airmail Stamps with RF Overprints, includes a large unserifed RF (applied in Alger) on a single and a block of four, plus a large serifed RF (applied in Alger) on a block of four. All stamps are stuck to an old glassine inter-leaving (originally meant to protect the gum!) and are uncancelled. Scott # CM4, CM8 (only valued on cover), Yvert & Tellier #16 (Type I, €140 each stamp = €560) and #17 (Type II, €350 each stamp = €1,750).
