Collection of Dated
12½c Blue Large Queens, with 31 stamps, all arranged chronologically on a 2-sided stock page, with each stamp identified by owner as to date (June 1868 to Sept 1882), perforation, paper and paper thickness. The great majority are fully dated,
some are missing either the month, day or year. Some have faults to varying degrees, which does not detract from the usefulness of the dated cancels. (Scan 1)

1890s 15c "Turquoise"
Large Queen, a useful research lot which includes two items from the John Jamieson stock: a used "blue-green" shade (crease) and a mint (hr) "turquoise" shade, perforated 12, ex "Jura" collection (priced at $995). The latter is accompanied by a
2007 Greene Foundation certificate stating that it is a "colour faded, paper is toned", with Jamieson notes explaining what he suggests the stamp is. The stamps are accompanied by several supporting items, including a copy of the Morris Colour Guide
listing the shade, a photocopy from "A Large Queen Report" by Hans Reiche explaining this shade as well as other documents detailing the sale of two "identical" other stamps from the J. Smith collection (both with Greene certificates stating
"greenish grey" shades). Reading through this literature one can read that this shade is "exceedingly rare with only 2 or 3 known copies", or... A useful group for the Large Queen specialist. (Scan 1)
