Beaver Plate Positions, Plus Plate Flaws, etc. all neatly displayed and described on 12 quadrille pages, with 89 stamps plus three covers (one of which has an enclosure on "H.M.S. Wolverine" letterhead. Each stamp is identified by the owner for
its plate position (1 to 100), state and plate flaw number, when applicable. We note minor re-entries, copies with plate imprints in margin, and constant plate varieties such as "burning bush", "sunspot flareup", "comet", a nice "high moon", as well
as numerous dots and scratches. We also note paper thicknesses, colour shades and a few better postmarks including dated town postmarks, 4-ring numerals, etc. A rarely offered collection, all pages scanned online. (Scan 1)

of 5c Beavers with 4-Ring Numeral Cancels, all neatly displayed and described on 6 quadrille pages, with 73 stamps, representing a good portion of the possible numbers. Includes better numbers such as 1, 5 (in blue), 12, 13, 19 (in blue, with
CPES certificate), 22 (in green), 25 (in red, faint strike), 33 (partial), 38, 41, 43, 44 (in black and in in blue), 46 (partial), 627, and many others. The last page contains some curiosities, such as clogged-up strikes (appearing to be 2-rings) and
4 stamps with various #37 cancels from Québec City. Most of the strikes in this collection are well above average, see all pages scanned online. A rarely offered collection so close to complete and a great opportunity for the 4-ring postmark, or 5c

Consort First Printing, used with a socked on the nose 4-ring #38 cancel from Kingston. Perforations are clear to well clear of the design on three sides, just touching at left. The stamp still has several perforation disks adhering and shows the
distinct colour of the first Consort printings, fine-very fine. A desirable stamp for advanced stamp or postmark collectors. Accompanied by a 1996 Greene Foundation certificate.
